Salthill Knocknacarra GAA have started coaching our fifth class the skills of Gaelic football for the next few weeks.
We had a busy October and had a very exciting party to celebrate Halloween. We have been learning about Autumn and all the amazing things that happen in nature during this time. We have been going on a Friday nature walk to spot the changes happening all around us. We have been learning about hedgehogs and made some using clay. We even made some homes for them to live in.
We are also very excited to have Salthill Knocknacarra come in teach us some football skills. We are having so much fun every Friday morning.
We love Science in First Class and we have been doing lots of experiments too. We have been really enjoying the crisp Autumn weather and got out and made some trees using twigs so we could label them later in the classroom.
Congratulations and well done to our 21 swimmers who represented our school on Saturday in the Connacht Minor Schools Championships at Leisureland.
