GAA Coaching.
We have really enjoyed our visits from Galway footballer Johnny Heaney this year. Johnny is currently coaching the girls from 3rd-6th with their football skills. He had previously been coaching the boys in our last term.

Rugby lessons have also been great fun. The Coaches have been in to work with 4th, 5th and 6th Classes. It has been great fun and a fantastic opportunity for our children. Many thanks to Matt for his help with this.
As part of our Partnerships with PE, we held a Clubs Day on Thursday November 14 2019. Local Clubs and Groups set up in school to meet with children and parents and talk to them about activities, training times, try-out times etc.
It was great to see Outdoor Education Clubs that work locally come and share what they do with the children. Sporting Clubs too, got lots of opportunity to tell children and their parents about that they do in our locality. Soccer, football, rugby, water polo, running, windsurfing, dancing and basketball were all represented. Thank you to all the clubs that came and also to the Parents Association who set up our highly successful Clubs’ Day!
