WELCOME TO KNOCKNACARRA NATIONAL SCHOOL
Creative Kids After school are exploring the possibility of offering a Breakfast Club from September 2019. The Breakfast club would run from 7:30am – 8:30am daily, at a cost of €5 per child per morning. We are opening a short sign up period for the breakfast club to ascertain the level of interest in this service. If we reach our minimum quota of 10 children, we will run the breakfast club from September.
If you wish to enrol your child/children please do so by contacting Gemma by Friday 7th June 2019.
Phone: (089) 4003216
We extend a warm welcome to you and your child to Knocknacarra NS. It is our aim that your child will be extremely happy in our school and will achieve his/her full potential by being happy, sociable and respectful in our school’s pleasant and stimulating learning environment. There is a strong sense of community and a high level of co-operation between staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
New Primary Language Curriculum: The Department of Education and Skills published a leaflet for parents on the New Primary Language Curriculum for English and Irish (Junior Infants to Second Class). It explains the curriculum changes and offers advice to parents on supporting their children’s language development at home.
Help My Kid Learn: I would like to highlight another excellent web site, Help My Kid Learn, which brings together relevant information for parents and the wider community to support children’s literacy and numeracy development.
